Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel is your opportunity to be a part of the research we do here at Nielsen. This panel helps understand how consumers use the Internet by studying the websites people like you go to. By simply installing our technology, either on your computer, tablet, or smartphone, you are helping mold the future of the online world.

At Nielsen, we're all about understanding computer and mobile trends - the types of applications you use, the content you view and listen to, as well as the websites you visit on your computer, phone, tablet or other registered mobile device. Your everyday activities as a panelist will help us understand how people use their computers and mobile devices. It doesn't matter if you use your mobile device a lot or a little, or how you use it, the information on your usage is important to us and a valuable contribution to our research. Plus, you will be rewarded for your participation! Active members receive monthly and quarterly incentives, as well as monthly tokens to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games to earn rewards. Please see the Rewards section for more details.

Your name is separated from the data, which is then combined with the data of thousands of others like you to provide insights to our clients while protecting everyone's anonymity. Your information is protected as described in our Privacy & Cookie Notice and will never be used to directly market or sell products to you.

We combine the information that comes from our panelists with data and research tools from other sources. We use this information to perform research and to prepare reports and analyses concerning Internet audience demographics, behaviour and use.

There is no fee to join this panel. Please note that you will never need to provide credit card information or purchase anything in order to participate.

For signing up, you will get opportunities to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games, to earn rewards.

For registering and installing our app / software on at least one device, and staying connected, you'll get a monthly and quarterly incentive, as well as tokens every month to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games, to earn rewards.To thank you for being an active member, we offer you a points-based reward system. As long as you stay active, you will accumulate points which can be redeemed for gift vouchers.

Your points will be available to use for 2 years after being credited. Any unused points remaining after this period will expire.

Additionally if you choose to leave the panel or if you are inactive on your eligible devices for a period of six (6) consecutive months, your points account will be closed and points expired. Once expired, your points cannot be reinstated.

In order to be eligible to join, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract.
• Be the owner of any computer and/or mobile device onto which you authorise the software download.
• If there are any minors within your household, you are the parent or guardian of any minor with access to the devices you are registering.
• You agree to inform those individuals with access to your computer and/or mobile device on which the software is installed that you have agreed to join the panel, and these individuals have given you their explicit consent to be a part of the panel and to be subject to the panel membership agreement.
• If you are installing the software on a work device, you have the permission to do so from your employer.

By signing up, you will begin to earn tokens which you can use to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games to earn rewards. Depending on your eligibility, you can install our software/app onto your devices, and earn additional monthly points, which can be redeemed for gift cards and other rewards.

Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel is an on-going project. Your participation in our Internet research is at your discretion. Should you ever decide to stop participating, you may do so at any time. Simply login to the Profile Management page and choose to opt-out under the "Account" section.
